I’m Adrienne, a digital designer with 20+ years’ experience creating thoughtful, accessible websites and digital experiences - combining design thinking with practical front-end understanding.
I’m a digital designer with more than 20 years’ experience working across agency, consultancy and enterprise projects. My work spans UX/UI design, information architecture, visual design and front-end implementation, helping turn complex requirements into clear, accessible and maintainable digital experiences.
At Admire Digital, I work closely with clients and developers from initial brief through to delivery and ongoing support. Previously, as a Senior Web Designer at Lighthouse, I worked on websites and digital brand experiences for energy-sector organisations and public-sector institutions. Having worked through the evolution of the web, from hand-coded fixed-width layouts to responsive design systems and component-based interfaces, I bring both a strong design foundation and an understanding of how digital products are built.
I’m particularly interested in the space where user needs, thoughtful design and technical realities meet - and in how emerging tools, including AI, can support better design and delivery.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Gray’s School of Art at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I’m curious by nature and continue to develop my practice as design methods, web technologies and digital workflows evolve.
I believe understanding how an interface is built makes you a better designer. This portfolio is built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, using a customised Bootstrap foundation. It reflects how I approach design: considering real-world constraints, creating practical solutions and working closely with developers to bring ideas to life.
Open to projects and collaborations. Say hi.
